New England Patriots Win 34-28

The game is over and we lost. What a great ride. I still feel like we were the better team, but the score says that New England Patriots are the best in the NFL We had or chances and we failed to capitalize, we just made some bad strategic decisions. But once it’s over it’s over. I feel real good about our organization, we have a great owner in Arthur Blank and a great Head Coach in Dan Quinn. Hopefully we will get back to the Super Bowl before I go to the upper room, and next time we need to win.

One positive thing that came out of our Super Bowl appearance, it marks the first time my son Veston III watched a game with his Old Man, and he didn’t leave until the very end, surprised the hell out of me.

Lastly I need to thank our local sports channel 92.9 the game for being there for a lot of us who were still waking up with a Pistol in our Mouf. They let a lot of us know we were not alone. It was a devastating loss.

The Super Bowl Weekend Begins

Well this is it, 2 more days and the game is here. I’ve spent the past few days trying to decide if I wanted to go healthy or do the regular BBQ pig out routine. It looks like tradition won out, so I’m going to dine out on bad food and beer. Then I’ll make a promise to myself that I won’t do it again. This will be the first day of a new beginning that will have me doing what’s right to change my direction in life. Sounds like a plan, yeah sounds like a plan.

A few minutes ago I just got back from buying my supplies so now it’s on

I honestly have no idea how we are going to do in this game. Being a Falcon Fan since their inception, I hope for the best and sometimes expect the worst. I feel like we have the better team, but in my mind our history is hard to over come, but I want so badly to be surprised.   Go Falcons

Falcons Beat Seahawks 36-20

What a great game we win 36-20, now on to the Green Bay Packers. The game will be played Sunday @ 3:05 est.I like our chances. When I listen to the national media it’s all about Aaron Rodgers, but our QB is excellent also and is having a MVP caliber year.

I must admit that I was a little sluggish this Sunday. I may have consumed a few too many brewskies. Beer is probably my last remaining vice. I know I should give it up so my body can be pure, which help your thinking process, but I’m not ready yet. 🙁

Atlanta Vs Detroit 10-26-14

My Falcons are about to do battle with the Detroit Lions in London, Let’s go Falcons.  😎
I really don’t know what’s going on with my team, all I can do is pull hard for their success. If we don’t turn it around in a hurry it looks like we will have a new Coach and General Manager next year. As a long time fan I really don’t want to see that much change, but we have a great owner in Arthur Blank so I’ll put my trust in him.  😐

Michael Sam Cut From Cowboys Screws Self :-(

I believe Michael Sam was/is good enough to play in the NFL. His problem was he was  more interested in being a gay martyr than a NFL player. Worst case scenario he would have been selected in the 3rd or 4th round if he didn’t come out as gay. Dude lost at least a million dollars all for the gay cause, now he looks and probably feels like a fool.

The NFL set his ass up perfectly. They had the team in his home town (college) draft him, they already had a built in excuse that it would probably be hard for him to make the team since St. Louis was loaded at his position. True to the script they let his ass go. To seal his fate the NFL had the Dallas Cowboys put him on their roster. Seven weeks after the season begins Sam is dropped and his exit from the NFL barely makes the news. Mission Accomplished!

The eating cake off his buddies face was probably the bullet he put in his own back before he even got a chance to show his skills on the field. The NFL is a conservative organization. If you are going to come in and make changes, you have to do so gradually. You can’t burst on the scene like Vince McMahon saying fuck the rules, change has to be slow.

Damn Fool 🙁

Falcons to be featured on HBO’s Hard Knocks

Falcons Hard KnocksI love HBO’s Hard Knocks, but I’m going to really love it this season. My beloved Atlanta Falcons will be the feature this year. Hopefully we will erase the hell we as fans went through last year and have a great 2014. Here is the article from Atlanta’s own D. Orlando Ledbetter

FLOWERY BRANCH The Falcons will be featured on HBO Sports’ award-winning documentary series Hard Knocks, the team announced Thursday.

The Falcons, HBO Sports, and NFL Films will team up for an all-access, behind the scenes look at what it takes to make it in the National Football League when Hard Knocks: Training Camp with the Atlanta Falcons debuts on August 5.

The Falcons have been approached before, but have been reluctant to appear on the hit show.
